The design of the ceilings of unusual shape was developed for the central hall of the business centre. But the questions were still open about what materials could be used for its implementation, how to provide access to communications given the lack of space between the ceilings?
Our specialists, together with our partners from Vogl Deckensysteme (Germany), developed an original solution based on individually shaped VoglVariety acoustic gypsum panels.
The suspension system, designed by Columbus' technical team, provides local access for servicing the engineering systems in the ceiling space.
The result is a concise solution that fully satisfies the original rendering. And what's more, the acoustics in the room have been improved, as the Vogl panels have a sound absorption coefficient of up to 0.90.
